The Cake

I found a cake like this by Chef Ryan on Facebook, and wondered why I didn't think of this myself. After all, I made plenty of cakes like this before I discovered the bakery. Just ask my kids.

What else can I pile up and paint?

This is such a happy painting. I love it! Your bright colors against the black areas make this painting pop.
Most of the cakes I made for my kids when they were small had a degree of crookedness to them. After driving myself crazy for a few years, I finally realized that there is a reason why bakeries exist. Although I must admit that the barbie doll cake I made was pretty cool.

Hi Sue, the staggering cakes make a lively painting! Maybe you can stagger cups or one with a tower of cup-cakes (I have one in mind too)
